If you missed out on last year’s uniquely themed Minotaur, Pret A Diner dining experience than brace yourself for a repeat performance, only this time its set to be bigger than before. Returning from May 8th (to June 30th) and entitled, Italians do it Better and will be fronted by Michelin-starred chef Giorgio Locatelli and includes an art gallery, a bar and a boutique.
Giorgio Locatelli (in collaboration with the catering company Kofler & Kompanie – the pioneers of Pret A Diner, Europe’s most celebrated pop-up restaurant) will create authentic traditional-style Italian menus in contract to more modern, innovative dishes prepared by five other invited Italian Michelin-starred chefs as a unique showcase to discover both the origins and latest innovations in Italian cuisine. Hosted at the iconic Grade II listed 50, St James Street this will be the final event within before it is closed for a complete transformation this autumn.
Overseen by Creative Director and Pret a Diner co-owner Olivia Steele, Pret A Diner will also be collaborating with the acclaimed Gazelli Art House on a cutting-edge exhibition of contemporary Italian artists, including Monica Bonvicini, Aron Demetz, and Jacopo Miliani alongside live musicians performing and DJ’s.
